The Stubborn Goat Gastropub

Close to downtown for lunch, The Stubborn Goat Gastropub was my first stop for Burger Bash 2024. Their feature burger this year the "Spice Jam" is a smash burger/PB&J hybrid. The Spice Jam was a slam dunk first entry for my burger week, and if Stubborn Goat added it to its regular menu I'm sure it would quickly become a fan favorite. Like many, I have grown somewhat jaded over the years toward the Burger Week/Bash event but I still appreciate the opportunity for restaurants to express their creativity. Our server Emily was excellent, and when the beer I ordered didn't look/taste quite right she and the bartender immediately recognized some of their tap lines had gotten mixed up and brought me the correct beverage. You can't really ask for better service. I regret that I didn't opt to upgrade my side, it was just too many fries for lunch but that's on me. Last but not least, the Stubborn Goat was able to make their burger completely gluten-free for my dining amiga. Many restaurants would only need to acquire gluten-free buns to do this but an unfortunately small number do. I appreciate that Stubborn Goat made the effort to accommodate this dietary restriction.

Went there for dinner and drinks. Our server, Brianna had the most upbeat energy and we experienced some of the best customer service ever.

First time in the new location, food was just as amazing as I remembered, feel it’s a little smaller than the old place but so happy you guys are back!

Came here for brunch on Easter Sunday with family and had a lovely meal. The steak tartar on toast was to die for as was the lobster eggs benny! Service was efficient and friendly and the décor was cozy and comfortable. We'll definitely be back to try the dinner menu.

Hosted a dinner for a group of 50 friends. The staff were amazing (Tess and Maddie) and every single guest was very happy. The restaurant was extremely accommodating and ensured the night was a great success, all while catering to various food and drink orders throughout the evening. Live music in the background made for a very enjoyable and social environment.
