The Stag and Hounds

Been 3 times within the advertised opening times on Google, and on the opening times on the plaque outside the pub, but it's always closed and no sign saying why, all dressed up and no where to go as they say , I assume it's closed down...

I came in last Sunday for a drink after a group walk and the staff was very friendly and welcoming

The waitress was picking her nose at the bar the chef Thought it would be a good idea to make a cat noise to my wife (discussing) The food was terrible steak was cold the rest was cooked in a microwave need I say more -10 out of 10 please don’t waste you time or money going here I’ve now been sick tonight and sitting on the toilet brilliant

The meal was delicious, Ive never tasted such mouth watering chips & the rice pudding was an absolute sensation. The only minus was we were a bit cold at the beginning.

The best roast around!! Really delicious, proper roast with an exciting desert to finish

Nice warm pub for a quick Sunday pint. Busy for food and menu looked good though didn't eat!!

Four very happy customers, including one vegetarian who doesn't eat meat substitutes. The roast dinner could not have been better. Fairly priced. Delicious puddings. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly locals. Lovely staff.

It's a really kid friendly pub. The food was well priced and came out quickly and the staff were lovely.
