The Spirit Vaults

We arrived yesterday very wet - three women and three very wet black Labradors. The man behind the bar couldn’t have been nicer. The food was terrific and though we were not very hungry we all enjoyed what we had. My soup was delicious. Went home and told my husband and he said he loves it there and has been a couple of times before going to The Assembly Rooms with a friend. Thank you again - we will return maybe even together!

Nice pub with a cosy feel, had a few bits of food, the scotch egg is amazing. Pints are also very good, selection of own brewed or guest beers on tap, also a selection of cans. all reasonably priced.

Excellent 4 of us went for lunch, great food, everything home made, proper chips and scampi really well cooked and presented, homemade very tasty burger and excellent beer to top it off. Very reasonable prices. Great service will be returning again soon.

We had lunch here on Easter weekend and can't rate this highly enough. This is a clean, friendly, pretty and dog friendly venue. Lots of great microbrew options. Our meal was 10/10, the best fish and chips and scampi we've had. Staff were also lovely and helpful. It's tricky to get parked, but well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again. Food & drinks: Great quality food and drink, exactly what you want from a nice pub meal.
