WONDERFUL little GEM! Has not disappointed in the many years we've patronized this delightful little place! Had not been there in maybe 2 decades and it was STILL fantastic. Absolutely charming, quaint little Victorian house-turned-Tea House/Lunchery. Hand-painted floral, rim-gilded China tea cups, Granny's lace galore, adorable ceramic knick-knacks, very nice people, and best of all, GREAT FOOD. Quiche is always a winner, as are the made-from-scratch giant, fluffy rolls with real butter. (Not for the gluten-fearful! lol) They also have wonderful desserts such as bread pudding and cherry cream cheese pie. The have tea parties with all the trimmings--scones with cream, dainty finger sandwiches, pastries, floral tea pots. (I celebrated my birthday with a tea party many years ago and can't wait to have afternoon tea there again.) The setting is the idyllic home your fantasy great-great- grandmother owned, where she grew vegetables and herbs in her garden, did needlework, and baked homemade goodies from scratch in her frilly lace-trimmed apron. Go see Granny! Immediately. YUM
