This wine produces all the typical aromas of this native grape, followed by dazzling notes of exotic fruit. The palate is structured and well balanced, intense and lingering. A firm and harmonious white that pairs wonderfully with fried and spicy foods, seafood, and shellfish.

The vineyard of Flores is one of the oldest vineyards near the French Mediterranean Coast. The area is ancient, full of remains from being a Roman communication and trade route. The Vignerons (the winemakers) have a deep history and connection to the land. The varietal Piquepoul ("to bite the lips") has natural high acidity and produces wines with great brightness. This Picpoul de Pinet is exceptional. Salty seaside, lemon rind, white flowers, hibiscus, macadamia, peach pit on the nose. Peach fuzz and orange citrus fight for attention on a beautiful minerally and bright palate with saline undertones + lemony finish.

We produced our Vintage 2019 Sauvignon Blanc from three superbly situated Napa Valley vineyards. Hand-pruned, hand-picked and whole cluster pressed, it saw extensive less contact and displays the textbook qualities of Napa Valley's finest Sauvignon Blancs.

This cuvée is a blend of several plots selected for their soil qualities (limestone, draining) and exposure (early south-east facing sectors). This allows us to develop wines with a straightforward, fruity, lively and fresh style in the pure spirit of Mâconnais wines.

To that point, Grain & Barrel Spirits (who owns the Chicken Cock brand) mentions that this release was specifically created in response to a surge in consumer demand for whiskey featuring a secondary finish. This batch is made up of four production dates that were aged in four different warehouses. The breakdown of barrel storage for Booker’s “Pinkie’s Batch” is as follows: 47% came from the 3rd floor of 7-story warehouse Z 36% came from the 4th floor of 7-story warehouse 1 11% came from the 4th floor of 7-story warehouse X 6% came from the 5th floor of 7-story warehouse Q The color of this batch is a rich, golden amber that really shines when you hold it up to the light and admire the glass you’ve poured.
