The Shrewsbury Hotel

Had dinner here the staff were very friendly and the service & food was 100% Nearby activities: The lovely city and it's flowing river Severn offer lots of freedom to explore.

Had our evening meal here twice while in Shrewsbury & as always Wethers have done well , enjoyed our meals & the surroundings. Food & drinks: After a 12 mile walk we enjoyed our meal of half a herb & garlic chicken with salad & jacket potatoe although my husband had his with chips & garlic bread.

Very nice food, only giving 4 stars as cutlery could be a bit cleaner. Table was a bit sticky but apart from that great atmosphere and great food and drinks. Stella was cold af, however some muppet took my Stella off me (half pint, I always have a full pint with my main meal and then half pint with the dessert) He saw my empty pint glass as we had just ordered more drinks and dessert, I have him my ID as requested, but my PREGNANT WIFE didn't have her ID because the DVLA have it. So I couldn't drink my bloody stella. Food & drinks: Amazing food and drinks. Stella lovely and cold.
