The Shed Grill & Bar- Weatherford, Oklahoma

Regrettably decided to take my girlfriend on a date here, now I am not a gourmand or anything. Albeit I find it very strange that apparently the standard burger is served rare here, from most of my experiences that is not the case. Typically I receive medium well burgers, nonetheless this was taken care of by the staff and another was made. Oddly enough this burger was equally as rare as the first, but instead the outside was a crispy husk with rare meat on the inside. I am not sure how many chiefs work here but one of them is losing passion and you can see it in the food.

I sat at the bar and had a great time. Samuel was awesome greeted me quickly and had a drink and menu shortly after. Had the Chicken Fried Steak, baked potato, green beans and side salad which came out before my first drink was half gone. Great service, food and atmosphere and with parking right out front. He had King of the Hammers on MAV TV to add a little bit more.

The food is just so so.

If this was the first time we'd eaten here, we would never come back. We waited an hour for food. Not the correct food, any food. We couldn't grab staff's attention to get drink refills. It was unclear if the server was new and full or anxiety or if something else was wrong, but it was a terrible experience. If this wasn't one of the few decent chicken fried steaks in the area, it wouldn't get our business again. Perhaps management should consider having someone in authority walking around on busy days, bussing tables, reassigning as necessary, finding capable staff. UPDATE: The service was MUCH better! The food is still fine, not great. But, it's western Oklahoma. We aren't a food mecca by any means. However, great staff makes a difference.

Samuel was friendly and professional. The french fries were absolutely the perfect crisp, the buffalo chicken sandwhich was huge, the steak was perfection and the mac n cheese was cheesy goodness! We will for sure be back if we come back through!

You can't go wrong at the shed everything is great

Saturday Dec 30 at or around 4 P.M. , we ordered to go from The Shed what was our Christmas dinner with my grandson. 4 adults ordered. The baked potato was inedible. Looked like it had been reheated for hours. No way they could not have seen potato was burned dried up and in large chunks inside potato. No way creamy smooth inside. Was yellow and brown in color. Do not know if I will try them again.
