The Sandwich Spot

The guy who owns this place takes pride in being the most insufferable and rude man in all of San Carlos. Only reason people go here is because it’s basically the only sandwich shop in the city. I recommend going to Redwood City (Ike’s, or even the other sandwich spot for a better alternative). Don’t care for the chit-chat, just make me my sandwich and I’ll be on my way!

My 14 year old daughter came in to buy a sandwich on 6/14/24 and the cashier added a $5 tip after she and left. Shady!! Careful, these people will take advantage if they have the opportunity!

the best. try the hat trick it makes me cream my pants. the people are always very welcoming and nice. i think this is my favorite sandwhich ever. GOBLESS🙏🙏

Order a couple of sandwiches, the bread was suppose to be a soft roll, it was not soft. The roasted beef and cheeses was microwaved.

The sandwiches ordered were made incorrectly by the owner, probably intentionally. He didn’t follow the specific, simple instructions we gave him.

This place has one of the best veggie sandwiches in town!!

The reviews I read about this location are total opposite. Stopped by to grab lunch. None of the staff were wearing gloves while handling food. Using dirty rags to wipe off the counter they made the sandwiches on. Touching their face and pulling up pants then continued to make food. Had a shedding dog in the kitchen. I’d definitely avoid this place. I left without ordering.

I went by today and they’re not open for the listed hours? Can we get some updated times on google?
