Fantastic wait staff. Happy, helpful and just all around great! Local beers are featured here with great Walkerville and Sandwich offerings. The food was great, appetizers to entrees. Gotta try the Salty Dog fries!

Great place for a drink and a meal.

Came to Amherstburg to visit some friends. We stayed at the airbnb just above the Salty Dog and then had lunch there one of the days. I was very impressed with how good the food was. I had the lobster mac and cheese and a caesar salad. Some of the best mac and cheese I’ve had in my life! If I ever find myself back in the area, I’ll be going back here! Parking: Only street parking. May need to walk a bit if you can’t find parking close.
