I had a great time here celebrating a friend's birthday. The staff were friendly and the whole place had a welcoming feel. They catered well for a large group, with the courses being served at suitable intervals and all the orders were correct. The staff were even kind enough to source extra birthday cake candles when the ones we had didn't work. Prices are reasonable. There is a car park, but it can get full quite quickly, especially if there's more than one large party. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come again. Parking: The car park is on site and has quite a few spaces. But it can get a bit crowded and finding a space can be difficult. There is some on-street parking close by.
Second time we've eaten there and never disappointed. They have a wide range of menu options, which sometimes can mean not good at anything, but quite the contrary, everyone was happy with their meal. Prices are very reasonable and service is good. We are at 6pm, Sunday. It was quite quiet. No problems parking or getting served. Nothing to not like. Sorry. Don't do photos of food!
First time being in this place as it was recommended from a nearby hotel. We ordered the Sunday dinner roast. And was a bit confused after seeing many reviews of people getting this it looked good but when we got ours we only had a few items on the plate and the food was very dry and hard to swallow. we had to share our peas, carrots and broccoli between two people which were given to us on a separate little dash not really what I expected but seen other people had been given a full normal Sunday roast with everything on their plate. Given this was priced higher than average we kinda expected to be good. When we arrived and had our order taken the staff member didn't seem very polite. Possibly having a bad shift but still left my partner feeling uncomfortable.
Lady squad of Barber shop singers came over to sing 'happy birthday 'to my wife and another lady!! how's that for service.
Ok food, staff very friendly..
