The Peanut Bar Restaurant is a 98+ year old, 3rd generation family owned/operated Restaurant/Bar just off 422 on Penn St. in Reading. Our atmosphere is that of a post prohibition, relaxed bar/restaurant where you can enjoy complimentary peanuts & throw the shells on the floor. The Peanut Bar features over 25 beers on draft, bottled imports & craft brews as well as wines & spirits. The Peanut Bar serves all types of food from delicious sandwiches & burgers to elaborate appetizers, entrees & legendary desserts. We take pride that virtually every menu item including desserts is made from scratch by our talented kitchen staff led by Chef William.
