Good friendly pub selling some excellent draught ales & ciders. Knowledgeable staff who can recommend a drink to suit your tastes.

Came in not expecting a lot. Nice quiet beer and I was pleasantly surprised, they had an open mic night on. It was really good and not knowing what the Blue monkey brewery beer was like, I tried and was again nicely surprised it was a lovely pint and poured well. Staff were pleasant and the pub was a nice little place to visit if your in Newark. Oh and dog friendly as well with water for your pup as well. Well done guys, lovely warm place

Proper pub with proper real ales. Didn't eat here but can't remember much after leaving due to sampling the 10.5% ales on offer
