This is a great spot that I found whilst meandering downtown San Jose. The brisket sandwich was awesome and the drinks were even better. Folks complaining about being told no outside items clearly have never been in public before. Finish your ice cream then go into the restaurant.
This place is awesome. Food was ok and wait staff was a little slow when the crowd was really small. Bartender didn't know how to make outlr drinks. But I would definitely go back and give it another shot.
I've had bbq all around the country...this was one of the worst tasting bbq I've ever had. Tritip looked like it was frozen and then heated up too quickly and tasted like it too...white meat, no rings. They put a sauce on it that tasted like thin gravy, not bbq
Brisket was overcooked or tasted like they just added bbq sauce to yesterday's meat.
The server was nice, but there was only one other person inside.
Cornbread was good. Albondigas soup was good.
The food was a bit bland and over cooked but it's good enough for a visit if you're looking for a place to get drinks and chill for a bit
We came on a Sunday night and had wings, nachos and chicken tacos. The food was pretty decent!
The bar was pretty empty, which we liked because we got to play Shuffleboard all night 😂
The best part of the night was the hospitality of Dany our server. He was very kind, accommodating and welcoming!
There’s also an outdoor patio with cornhole and beerpong tables.
Would definitely come again :)
Wir reisen seit 2 Wochen in den USA und das war der beste Burger. Knusprige Pommes und geschmackvoller Patty. Eine tolle Atmosphäre! Absoluter Tipp in San Jose!!
The beer selection isn't like it was, almost all hazy juicy IPA like everywhere else. The menu is on a rapid decline, they used to offer bison, boar, and other rare treats but now it's better than Applebee's but nothing special. I still wind up there almost every time I'm in the area because the service is way better than anything nearby.
The food was great. Cool atmosphere.
you won't believe what just happened to me and my husband today. We decided to drop by this restaurant to clarify a simple query, with no intention of dining in. We just wanted to place an order to go, a task hardly taking five minutes. Can you believe one of their staff got all riled up because we were holding ice cream? Instead of courteously attending to us, he had the audacity to ask us to leave, without even taking our order! I was shocked that a minuscule item like ice cream could incite such disrespect. My flabbergasting experience didn't end there — he escorted us out, his eyes trained on us as if we were criminals. Instead of welcoming potential customers and addressing our query about this sandwich we had been hankering for, they harped an unending tune about the bloody ice cream! Frankly, this level of behavior is beyond intolerable, we were downright disrespected. I assure you, neither my family nor I will ever tread foot into that restaurant again.
Tender and Flavorful BBQ
Tons of seating inside and out to enjoy the game and some great drinks
I’ve visited this bar in San Pedro Square multiple times, and each visit had its issues. On one occasion, there were only two tables occupied and three waitresses working, yet we waited 15 minutes and never received our drinks, so we left. Another time, my friend was refused entry because he supposedly had an open bottle, which wasn't true—he had just thrown away his clearly labeled iced tea bottle. Overall, it’s just a regular bar with generic music and atmosphere. I wish I could comment on the food, but we never got ours. Disappointing experience.
Didn’t get any service at all, looks like they had 1 waitress “working”, but there was about 12+ security staff they had on.
Great place for food fun and drinks. Great staff!
So I was walking past this place on my lunch break today when I smelt meat being smoked, and the smell was so good that I stopped for lunch.
I got the half rack of ribs for lunch with Cole slaw and a Ceaser salad. The Cole slaw was very tasty and was not drenched in sauce and had a good balance to the flavors. The Ceasar was average but tasted good, and the veggies were very fresh in both salads.
The star of the dish was the ribs, by far... the meat fell off the bone (literally) as I picked up the ribs, and a butter knife is what I used to cut the ribs apart. The sauce had a very small spice kick to it and was a tasty sauce. I still perfered a dry rub on my ribs, but the sauce here was still very good and flavorful.
I will definitely be back because I want to try the brisket next, although it might be hard to pass up on the ribs, they were that good.
Good food and good service. Great drink specials for Cinco De Mayo.
They don't allow people with neck tattoos. Lol why is that a rule ?
Went on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. Server was good. She checked in occasionally but the food wasn't good.
