Didn't eat when I was there so I cannot really rate that. Great service and atmosphere and live music. I love this place, feels like going home when you are there

... It's been six years since we sailed away and I just made Halifax yesterday ... Excellent food, incredible live music, friendly folk and fresh Guinness, what more would you ask for??

Food and service was delicious but we were hoping for a matinee for music since the ice festival was on. Dartmouth only had music starting at 4 we arrived at 130. Why do the bars not have more matinee music for people that come into the city for the afternoon. Other place have them Ireland,nfld but not nova scotia disappointed.

I've been to The Old Triangle plenty of times, but had never tried their food before now. I was pleasantly surprised. I had The Steak and Steak, which is literally just two steaks, but it was delicious, and the steaks were both perfectly cooked. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meal, and the service was great. Will definitely be at the top of my list the next time I'm looking for a casual dinner spot.

A great traditional Irish pub. Great service, great atmosphere. The lamb burger wasn't the best I've ever had but it hit the spot. Get the Guinness gingerbread cake. Even if you're full, I promise it's worth it - one of the best desserts I've ever had. I'll absolutely be returning next time I'm in Halifax, even if only for dessert.
