Abysmal service and unpleasant staff - AVOID! Stopped in for a pint on my first trip to Nottingham and the glass I was served was chipped and cracked along the top. I pointed this out to the barman and politely requested a new drink (so as to avoid my gums being torn by glass, ofcourse). My reasonable request was met with what I can only describe as a tirade by the barman, who began ranting about how I didn’t say hello back when I walked in. I can only assume the chap in his bright blue coat whispered it to the floor when I walked in! I have been death in one ear since birth, so it’s always nice to be made feel welcome for that too. Thanks for making my trip to Nottingham memorable for the wrong reasons!

Whenever we are I Nottingham we always visit this pub, the food is great, staff and patrons all friendly.

Visited on Monday, waited 10 minutes at the bar, no one around, when someone arrived she obviously didn't want to be there, food arrived no cutlery or condiments ! Had to ask, won't put me off though, food was delicious as always, see you soon

Cute independently run pub with amazing food, can recommend the coronation chicken sandwich and all the drink on tap tastes great. Great aesthetic too! Came in again recently and we were blown away by the food and the drink, so so much on offer on tap could spend all day there and then carefully stumble home after trying it all! And WOW the burgers were absolutely amazing and the value too!! We were stuffed after having our £10.50 burgers I wished I could have eaten another right after, I will be back! Staff are always friendly too.

Lovely place

Stopped in for a beer on the way home from town. Lovely staff and well kept beer. They have two beer garden areas, one overlooking the canal and the other at the back of the pub. Will be back to try food when the weather gets nicer!

Lovely food. I enjoyed the pie and my sister loved the Thai veggie burger. Comfy space and nice beers
