Subtle yet familiar flavors of vanilla and oak are imparted to this special ale as it rests in the charred barrels

This is a fruit beer - not a fruit flavored beer - whose wort is mixed with pounds of grapefruit puree to allow the sugar to ferment out, leaving the tropical aromas of the fruit.
