BUSINESS KEEPS EMPLOYEE TIPS!!! I gave a two star reciew and 5 stars for the sections where employees are involved!! I love both locations and also their soeakeasy Nobel. I'm sad to have learned that this franchisee keeps their employees tips if you pay by Debit or Credit. PLEASE BRING CASH FOR TIPS TO ENSURE their AMAZING STAFF get their tips. I have never had a bad service here. The servers and the staff make that place what it is!! Don't pay a company extra money when you think it's going elsewhere. I'm Nova Scotia you should always ask if the person you think you're tipping get that money. JUST AWFUL

Edit: returned for Nye for after dinner desserts and still a good place. Had the chocolate Brownie cake and carrot cake and both were fantastic. Some great tasting desserts. A relatively small selection but very good nonetheless. Loved the peanut butter pie.

Had a great experience at our Christmas party

The Lemon Pavlova was disappointing and somehow too sweet, despite it being a lemon dessert. I didn't know lemon curd could be done so badly, it was quite drippy and didn't have much zest in it which is what really makes a good lemon curd. The meringue was crystallized and grainy. And it was very small, I expected something a bit more, considering this is a dessert restaurant. It's also disappointing that this was the only dessert that was gluten free, so I only had one option. However the Beef Stew was surprisingly delicious! Next time I would skip the dessert and just enjoy the stew. We had to wait to get into Nobel and thought it must just be busy, but when we arrived there were only two customers downstairs. Maybe it's some kind of policy to make people wait to get in, but it seemed odd. Dietary restrictions: The Lemon Pavlova is gluten-free, it does have butter in the curd and whipped cream made in house. The Beef Stew has Worcestershire sauce (gluten), I have mild gluten sensitivity and was ok with it. The Sweet Potato Soup is vegan.

We didn't have any food, just cocktails downstairs at the hidden little gem, The Noble. It reminded me of an old cigar bar from the movies (without the cigars). A password is needed to enter the place, which makes it very secretive and elitist! Very unique experience for me and my party. The cocktails are absolutely delicious! Thank you for a wonderful experience!! :)
