We made a reservation and was seated on time. The wait staff was attentive and personable. We waited a long time (an hour) for our food and was told they were short-staffed and there was a private party. The pork chop with the creole was very delicious. Those in my party all verbalized they enjoyed their food. We would return.
The steaks where cooked to perfection . We will definitely be dining there again.
Waited an hour and fifteen minutes for our food and watched multiple tables who were seated after us receive their food before us. I noticed that at least three of those tables complained about the wait, so orders are prioritized based on which customers complain the most, rather than the order in which customers actually place the orders. When we first sat down outside, the propane heaters were on, then ours ran out of gas. When I asked our waiter to put more propane in the heater, he did, but then another waiter came out and turned them back down. A man at the table next to us just waited for him to leave before turning the heater back up. On the upside, we enjoyed our crab claws and fried shrimp once they finally came out. Our waiter was thoughtful to bring me more sweetener and offer a refill on my tea but my father-in-law asked for another glass of wine and our waiter disappeared. They did not bring any sour cream for my mother-in-law's baked potato originally. Then, my husband's burger had no dressings or vegetables. It arrived as a plain burger on bread. I had to get up and look for the waiter to ask for our check.
I can't say enough about how sweet and attentive the server was. She did an excellent job. The food was very good. It made up for the seating. It was raining the night we went. We were sat on the outside patio (January), where they had metal patio tables and chairs. It would have been fine with the plastic and heaters, but the roof was leaky out there, and it was just really wet. There was also a cat. I love cats, but this one sprayed his territory, so there was a slight odor. Not strong enough to make me want to leave, but there just the same. They should pressure wash and fix the leaks in the overhang. The food was excellent, so it offset the seating situation. It was a quiet area for a nice dinner. Inside was a bit louder since it was full the night we went.
Popped in at 5pm on a Friday night and got right in. Bartender made wonderful lemon drop martinis. My ribeye was absolute perfection! My mom’s grilled shrimp were delectable as well. Service was friendly and quick despite being a packed house.
This quaint restaurant was a wonderful find. The prime rib po'boy was delicious. As well as the steak salad with the ranch dressing. The menu had many more choices I plan to try next time. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. One hint I was told by a local is to go when they open because they fill up fast. There were a lot of people waiting when we left.
Friendly service with great food and drinks.
First visit. Server, Cassidy, was great. Good banter. Food and service was wonderful. Cool place.
