Definitely recommend trying the grazing board (meat),well worth the price and the chips, well, delicious

Went for Sunday lunch yesterday afternoon and enjoyed one of the best Roasts we’d had in a while ! The Broccoli and Stilton Soup was gorgeous , I then had the Pork , which was SO juicy and tasty, my husband had the Beef and he absolutely demolished it ! Declaring the meat and roast potatoes “ Amazing ! “ Highly recommend !

Food & drinks: This was our first time here the huge lion outside caught our attention unfortunately though when we walked in and waited at the bar for drinks nobody came to us and there was at least 5 members of staff just standing around chatting behind the bar so we left. Shame really because we were even thinking of booking a room but thought we'd have a few drinks check the place out first sort of thing. First impression not great.

Friendly staff, especially Holly, excellent food, good choice of Beers.. definitely will return.

Went for a wedding, nice place upmarket, beer prices over £5 a pint not normally what l would pay.
