Great fish finger sandwich!

After a walk through Lathkill Dale we called in for lunch. Friendly staff, good choice if beer and lovely food. Dog friendly in the bar so it meets all our wishes.

Always like this place but very sorry to see that the small tables & seating have been removed from the front of the building. Admitted, there is room at side of building to sit but now this area is used by cars, which spoils any view.

Lovely place to stop for lunch!

Food & drinks: Didn't stay in the hotel as a guest. But went to enjoy the restaurant - Genuinely great food and service. Seated a table of about 20 of us. Would 10/10 recommend.

We wanted somewhere with views ... and wow did this place deliver! Even in fog and drizzle the views are stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food tasty and plentiful, the atmosphere lovely, and dogs and muddy boots welcome (overshoes provided!). And with the walking in the area being so outstanding this is an absolute gem of a find.
