The Hungry Bear Restaurant

Tried their "impossible" burger and like everything else on their menu it was wonderful. Monique, our server, took excellent care of us. It was on her recommendation that my wife and I chose the burger. I should note that this was a very large hamburger, if you aren't hungry or aren't interested in having half now and half another day then order something else. For the record, I was hungry.

Never imagined the steak would taste so good! I will admit, I walked in and pre-judged based off of the dinner like vibe. But I’m glad I was so wrong. The steak was juicy, bloody, and yummy

They are short staffed like most places, but the service was excellent as well as the food. Our waiter was running the entire time...

We waited 45 minutes to get our food when it had got there it was completely cold service was horrible, people that came in after us have received their food before us and their food was steaming hot.

The food was delicious and the service was great

I went there on October 8th 2022 Notice on the door permanently closed. !!!

Bought a Groupon and went there from afar today for dinner. Was closed with no signs on the door. Very disappointed. Thinking about getting a refund with Groupon.

Butterfly shrimp, fried chicken, and delicious gravy. Their ranch is too die for. And if that wasn't enough you'll fall in love with the homely decor. Cute bears everywhere. I feel like I'm at boutique restaurant in big bear.
