The Houndstooth Public House

This place has the worst service of any bar in Eugene. Food is decent if you don’t mind waiting an hour for a burger. Bar tenders are slow and never greet you with a smile. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The food was phenomenal! I ordered Pulled Pork Biscuit Sliders that were served with zesty, zingy slaw. The porcine shredded texture varied between crunchy and succulent, was redolent of brown sugar and played against the buttery biscuits just right! It took quite a while to be greeted by the wait-staff, which was understandable due to the Chiefs vs. Bills game ! I settled in with a yummy and fresh Ginger Beer paired with two lime wedges which a bartender served to me with a smile. The salad was a work of art. Bite! Into a Crouton crumbled over spiral sliced red and white onions, vibrant orange carrots and purple beets, arugula, and spinach. I chose to mix it up by combining Creamy Buttermilk Ranch dressing with the zip of Balsamic Vinaigrette. I left satisfied. Vegetarian options: I recommend their salad a thousand times over. Vegetarians will enjoy tater tots, onion rings, and graveyard fries with cheese. The options suffice for a vegetarian, but I would only recommend the salad for a vibrant and healthy choice.

Food is amazing. Door dash taxes likes 17% without service or they price is that way. You can only order one sauce. They tax twice as much for a sauce on a different burger. Food execution is amazing the service execution is terrible.

Our power was out so we stayed at a motel down the street and dinner here! Wow!!!! So amazing!! The people working there, even the other patrons were very friendly and happy! It was a nice change!

All of their food is delicious, not to mention well priced. Drinks are just as good. You can leave full on a budget and the service is super friendly! Parking: One entrance on w. 6th, another on Grand. Plenty of parking in the entire lot. Wheelchair accessibility: It's 1 story, everything is wheelchair accessible.

Really good food! Pulled pork sliders are awesome, and the Mac and cheese too
