The cafe was absolutely freezing, the two of us had a 12 item big breakfast which included two link sausages, beans, 1egg, 1/4 tomato, 1 hash brown, 1 potato scone, 2 bacon, haggis, black pudding., already spread toast and tea. We also asked for a latte, the milk in the latte was burnt and left a skin on the top of the coffee, the total cost was £25.40 so not the cheapest around. the breakfast was supposed to come.with tea, it didn't until we asked, we were told, you asked for an alternative drink, yes we asked for a big breakfast and a latte, they charged us £2.99 x 2 additional cost for the lattes so it's not like they swapped the tea for the latte at no extra cost, although we shouldn't have bothered asking for the tea as it was served in a mug already with milk in, it was very weak and tasteless so it would be best to ask them to leave the tea bag in. The food was not butchers standard which you would expect for the price, it was more like farmfoods standard bacon and tasteless haggis. The only brown sauce was chip shop brown that I personally only like on my chips not my breakfast,
We always pop in here for lunch any time we find ourselves in Kirkcaldy. Food is great, one of the best chippys in Fife in my opinion. Staff are lovely too. Wheelchair accessibility: It is a small cafe, quite narrow, so a bit of a squeeze, but it is wheelchair accessible. (I have opted to sit in a seat and fold my wheelchair up the times I've been in with my chair as we also have a guide dog with us because there's not that much space)
