Best place for food, scenery and overall friendly quick service :)

Absolutely good food and very reasonably priced,we had Jessica who served us what a charming young lady. The service was brilliant. Apologies for our little dog barking.

Handu meeting place with a good snack/lunch selection.

I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the gate. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge! I ordered the chicken wings for a starter and they gave me loads of them. Then I opted for the steak and ale pie (as pictured below) and it was amazing! Overall, I highly recommend and will be returning in the near future.

Nice food. However the staff are awful. Could all do with a lesson in hospitality. Waiting staff assaulted my 94 year old grandmother. Manager defended his staff before asking what the issue was or hearing our story.

Lovely atmosphere and facilities. Helpful and pleasant staff. Large portions but the food was bland.

Very good pub-restaurant, good atmosphere and friendly service. And variety of food. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces at the Fri and also larger parking lot opposite the restaurant cross the road. Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly
