The Garden Coffee Shop & Diner

A group of us went on Friday for afternoon tea, we had pre booked and it was delicious. One of our group had ordered gluten free and so pleased that her tea looked as good as the rest it meant she didn’t feel like she was missing out. We would happily recommend in fact we have booked for a Christmas party for a large group, the staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s somewhere I will be popping into on a regular basis for a coffee and lunch. Dietary restrictions: One of of our group ordered the gluten free afternoon tea and she really enjoyed it, she had an amazing selection.

Tucked away you may not know of the Garden coffee shop. But it's worth looking for. Superb food, friendly staff, hustle and bustle atmosphere and Jackie could not have been more helpful . Totally reccomend for breakfast ...lunch or afternoon tea. Fantastic!

Just had Mother’s Day afternoon tea .. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us .. Great singer !!! I’m lactose intolerant and they catered for me perfectly, I had alternatives to everything my mum had so I didn’t feel like I’d missed out on anything.. Had a great time will definitely be back highly recommend.. Thanks for making our afternoon so enjoyable.. Dietary restrictions: Dairy free

Overall a nice place, food service with 10 - 15 minutes of ordering, the food tasted good. We had 1 mocha + victoria sponge + set 2 breakfast inc filter coffee, which came to £15.85 in total. The set 2 breakfast had: plum tomatoes, black pudding, 2 rashers of bacon, 1 egg, 1 sausage for £8.25 + filter coffee (£1 extra) £9.25 in total. I would say it's overpriced, considering you can probably get the same for £5.50-6.50 for the same breakfast, close by. I understand, it's a slightly remote location, so some price premium expected. But I would expect at least 1 slice of toast + filter coffee to be free for the price.

The Garden Coffee & Diner is in a great location We all had the breakfast it was well presented and very tasty. They have a great selection of cakes, you must try the carrot cake this a great place to meet up with friends & family. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. Would definitely recommend this place.

It's our Saturday bacon sarnie go to.... we where more than happy to follow them down to Damyns Hall Aerodrome. All ways made to feel welcome regardless of how busy they are..

Very quiet when we visited, only people there, but food was excellent, quick and reasonably priced, had liver bacon and all the trimmings, neat and tidy place.
