It's become a weekly tradition for me to visit Frog Pub every Wednesday, and it's quickly become a highlight of my week. The atmosphere is so welcoming and communal, creating a cozy and inviting vibe that I love being a part of. Plus, there's nothing like enjoying a cold Heineken and indulging in their delicious and cheap wings while I'm there. But what really keeps me coming back is the fantastic service, especially from one of the servers who always goes above and beyond to make sure I have a great time. Their friendly demeanor adds to the overall enjoyment of my experience at Frog Pub. It's the perfect place to unwind, enjoy great food and drinks, and feel like part of a warm and welcoming community. Vegetarian options: Salads
Nice place. Good food. Small portions but filling. Great service!
I always order the same main dish, the toad, it is a humongous Yorkshire pudding with shaved beef and gravy. It takes 30 minutes to receive this dish, so I always order an appetizer. This time I ordered teriyaki wings. They were huge and tasty. I barely had enough room for the toad. The server was a doll. I can't remember her name, but totally over and above in aptitude towards her patrons. I always sit in the lower area of the pub. That is where the table, chairs, and booths are located. Very relaxing, laid back area. The upper area has the high tables and stools, more for mingling/socializing. It is also where live performers entertain the patrons. Don't bring your children! Almost positive a friend wrote a negative review about her experience bringing her child. Absolutely nowhere on the exterior does it say family friendly atmosphere. It is a public house, in every sense of the meaning. Adults go there to be surrounded by other adults. Tons of family friendly options off of Rummel Drive, in various financial categories.
I had wings here tonight and they were really good! They bread them in house and they are brought in fresh, never frozen, and you can tell. Someone posted 2 days ago that the pub had boasted all these flavours but only had 5??? Not sure why they would say that. The wing flavours have been the same for at least a year the bartender said and as you can see in the picture there are 12 flavours. Which I haven’t seen at another place. Maybe they weren’t the size of turkey wings but I found were larger than most places. I’d way rather pay slightly more and get fresh wings breaded in house then cheaper ones that are breaded and frozen in some factory. Also love that Thursdays are Happy Hour from open to close! Serving staff is excellent as well!
Went for wing night since they claim larger wings to justify the price. Was sadly disappointed. A Facebook post claimed 16 flavours and larger than average wings, it was anything but that. Maybe 5 flavours and very small wings. They should be 50 cents like other places which have larger wings. The servers are awesome and it’s a nice little place, but the wings need a little work. I’ll also add the pints seem a little small. I ordered a few and second one came in a sleeve glass but was charged for a pint. I can guarantee those are not normal pint sizes. Please improve your wings and I’ll be back. For spicy wings you can do better than throwing franks red hot on them.
The food has become excellent The service is great The atmosphere is amazing with different specials and live music. The one person I want to note that doesn’t get the credit he deserves in tips and praise. That the servers do is Mauricio from Mexico. He is definitely the hardest worker always with a smile and wanting to please. Don’t ever loose this young guy he’s the best
