The Frog Pond Downtown St. Petersburg

Whenever we are in town from central Florida we come to The Frog Pond! It never disappoints! The pancakes are huge, thick and full of flavor. The turkey sausage is juicy flavorful, not dried out. The shrimp and grits were good, husband said he wouldnt add the chorizo next time. The waitress took our table of 4 order by memory!! and she didn't miss a thing!! Her tip reflected her attention to detail, timeliness and kindness, thank YOU!! If you're in the area you won't want to miss the opportunity to dine here!!

Staff was incredibly friendly, made for a great breakfast. Food was just what I wanted. French toast is really good and great coffee.

The food is great and the portions are HUGE!!! I love breakfast, and especially fond of eggs Benedict. Had the Florentine Benedict. It was excellent and the candied bacon under the spinach was a delicious surprise. Did I mention the portions are huge? I’m a big guy and couldn’t finish all the food. The food was great, portions were huge but the real star is the hollandaise sauce. Some of the best I’ve ever had. The food, the service, all 5 star. Highly recommend.

Second time (of many to come) and both time Fiona was our waitress… (we asked for her this time). The food is awesome, large portions… Fiona is an awesome server, friendly, attentive, with a great personality to make you feel important as is you were her priority and most important customer! The Frog Pond owner… keep her… she’s a reason people come back I’m sure. We highly recommend this place! Want to return for lunch next time.
