The Forest Lodge Hotel

Decent room, owner is an unpleasant human being. Expensive for area, many other local hotels for less than half price. You have to pay £20 for early check which is a total scam. Would not stay again.

Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Good choices on the breakfast and evening menus.

Excellent food and service, highly recommended

Stayed here last night it greatly situated a 2 min walk from sherwood forrest. The room was clean and cozy with a very comfy bed. The eggs bendict we had for breakfast was beautiful , the service was excellent I would definitely recommend.

We went there only for a quick lunch after a walk in the Sherwood forest and we found a fantastic atmosphere and nice food!
