Overall fresh good tastes... But the ol raise the price game took over. Used to be a fair price, just raised another 20%>>>took it from a go often to go once in a while... Used to be a good value proposition deli... Used to be... slammer sandwich is good...

I randomly walked into this place and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. Will visit again.

I have tried a few veggie sandwiches and they are all fire!!

3/13/24 The Don's Deli 2105 Old Middlefield Rd Mountain View, CA 94043 I was in the area so I stopped in at around noon on a Wednesday. It's a small sandwich shop in a strip mall at the corner of Rengstorff and Old Middlefield Way. Parking was okay for the small mall with two rows of spaces. It was busy with many people waiting to pick up their orders. Don't plan on eating in, I counted 7 chairs for the 3 small tables. I ordered Don's Original Tri-Tip on Sour Dough. The sandwich was hefty with a good amount of thinly sliced beef with a subtle teriyaki flavor. The quality of the meat was good with no fat and tender (for Tri-Tip). It was a little chewy but I expected that. It was soaked with dressing and messy, don't attempt to eat in your car. You order and pay at the register and wait for your name to be called. The sandwich was tasty and a good value. It's repeatable.

Amazing subs for a great price. Go for the chicken chipotle if you like meat and a bit of spiciness or the Chick Chick Curry for a veggie option. Oh, and I recommend the Dutch Crunch - best combination of fluffy and crunchy-ness.

Great sandwiches with very friendly service

A great, new deli (formerly named Pimental). Service is excellent and I like the sandwich options. Very large and filling, and premium sandwiches (hot shredded chicken with avocado!) are only $11. Cookies are giant and delicious.

It’s a quick sandwich place. Good value. Good food. Don’t expect anything fancy.
