The DLC

Quarters DLC is definitely one of the greatest music experiences available in Salt Lake right now!!! We have seen and played some of the best shows of our lives here. The vibe is absolutely electric and when the stars align you will melt your face off- for how new this venue is, they sure know how to put together a good time. Infinite love and appreciation for this place.

As a performing musician, I've got nothing but love for The DLC and everyone associated with it! The booking and promotions staff are friendly and very responsive. The sound engineers know their stuff and work collaboratively with the bands to understand their setup and deliver the best audience experience. The stage is solid - it's a small stage with not much elevation off the floor, but it's perfect for the space. Impressively, the DLC has a sizable backstage area and a comfortable green room (although a backstage bathroom would be a very welcome addition!). Thanks to its built-in audience spilling over from the adjacent arcade bar, we've had some of our best turnouts ever on weekend nights at Quarters DLC and we're thrilled to be hosting our record release event here. A must for local bands, touring artists, and spectators who want to catch an intimate, top quality show.

Really fun to play a show there, staff is really cool very clear instructions on loading, set times, pay, etc. The staff is really nice and the sound guy was awesome! Definitely recommend it :)

Our band (ROOM) has played at this fine establishment several times both with other local acts and a variety of amazing touring bands. We have always been so impressed by the utmost quality, professionalism, and capacity for care that we have found at this venue. Each and every time we play here we leave with a smile, always fairly compensated, and always well taken care of throughout our stay. Not only that, but they are incredibly easy to work with in regards to booking and are very open minded in regards to the kinds of performances that they allow. If you're thinking of booking your band here (locally or out of state) we cannot recommend this venue enough! Always a pleasure. - Void, C., (ROOM).

A place that manages their music events as poorly as they have recently does not deserve support. Be wary all touring musicians, as this place has basically ran a huge scam on out of town bands without providing proof. Cannot stress how unprofessional that is.

Lots of fun, as someone who was really close to the stage. It got pretty humid in there, even in April (my loose-fitting jeans felt a little damp all over). Honestly, that's kind of part of the small concert experience, tho! You get to interact with the artists a lot more, which is a plus. Don't ever forget earplugs when you go to a concert!! They sell them for $1 at the venue entrance when you show your ticket. Another plus is that artists at small venues like this one will usually run their own merch table after the concert, which is a lot of fun! Plus, people are usually pretty nice at small concerts like this.

This was such a cool venue. We came here to watch From Indian Lakes perform a couple weeks ago and we have talked about how amazing the venue was several times! We had fun playing the arcade games in between sets and there is some seating so that you don't have to stand up the whole concert (which I feel should be offered more at concerts haha). There is a parking lot right across the street which was convenient since it was super cold outside. Definitely recommend this place if you're wanting to go to a concert.
