Um, ive been out for 24 years, never kicked out of a bar before. I've been a bartender, a go-go dancer decades ago, guess things have gottenso sanitezed you can't even be buzzed. I used to kick people out for narcotics- thanks weird straight boys that made me stand in the rain for 30 minutes to get a lyft. Gentrification strikes again- another dead space.
Visited from out of town. Clique vibe. Just a basic dive bar vibe which is fun, we have great dive bars here in Seattle, but this was just kind of rough.
Security staff was aggressive in a place that should be welcoming. Choosing who gets to go in and gaslighting clients was not the way to go.
They’re a little aggressive at the fore here. Not the best vibes for somewhere people should be seeking out for a fun evening.
We had a Great time at The Depot. Bartenders are nice. People are Friendly Drinks are good.. Reminds me of My Old Bar. Gay bar Silverado on Stark st. In Portland Oregon. When we move this will be my Regular. :) good job guys. Hugz.
