A lovely lunch in a delightful Old world rural setting. Beams galore with delightful staff and delicious home cooked fare. Well worth a visit. Parking: Big gravel car park.
Closed on a Saturday afternoon for a 'private function'. No sign outside, and no way to find out online if they are closed. A wasted journey.
What a cracker of a pub, stumbled across this place on a walk, substantial beer garden with lots of seating and a play area, really traditional feel inside and plenty of food and ales on offer plus a friendly welcome. Highly recommended for a well earned pint.
Could be a lovely pub but needs some TLC. Beer not too good. Light not working in ladies and no toilet roll. Not a very enjoyable experience
Traditional country pub, great food , land lady & staff friendly but not over bearing , lovely garden with children facilities , if you want to step back in time to a real rural pub this is the place .
We had a lovely visit today after a hot walk at Durdle Door. The street presentation of the pub is lovely with superb hanging baskets. The rear beer garden was lovely with plenty of tables and large umbrellas. The lady that served us was lovely, we only had drinks today, presented very well. Will be back again! Large car park.
Disappointing visit - couldn't have been made to feel more unwelcome. Stopped off for one drink after local walk, barely spoken to. Not surprised not more support for this pub if this is their idea of customer service/hospitality - will take custom elsewhere next time.
Very nice pub and great area near Wimborne as we did HASH walk and would be great places to walk if not rain and then back to the pub
Stopped by for lunch. Had a cracking broccoli & stilton soup and a cheese burger and chips. All very tasty, esp the soup, and not over priced. They've got a 5am May Day BBQ and Morris dance which we hope to go to. This is a great little pub which deserves a lot of support.
