This is a destination dining spot! If you are headed down I-95 through NC, do yourself a favor and take the exit for Wilson and head to The Corner Deli. We had the Green Machine, McDeli, and the Avocado Toast. And all the coffee. Tremendous! Friendly service and great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back and eat through the entire menu! Vegetarian options: There are at least three vegetarian sandwiches on the menu, clearly labeled, and the Avocado Toast was perfect for my vegan companion.
Great place with great owners and fantastic food. Probably one of the best places to get a breakfast sandwich in town. I have also eaten lunch here and the variety of sandwich choices is amazing. Please take the time to stop by here and give it a try for yourself.
The breakfast is great, please don't forget this gem is sitting in downtown
Fun, casual and delicious. Not too busy on Sunday. Prices reasonable, great little sit-down place. Parking: Center of block more or less behind building, and street parking. Kid-friendliness: Saw families of all ages.
Four of us all super picky eaters enjoyed an eclectic selection of lunch entrees. The “Collards Melt” and “Grandmas’ Heirloom Tomato” sammies were both awesome and a uniquely splendid share for two vegetarians. The Greek Salad for one was good through to the bottom of the slanted bowl for another. “The Bear” had a hefty growl and spicy topping of “Giardienero” (coarse pickled vegs) but was not quite as sloppy as I had imagined. I think I’d prefer the nice hoagie roll heated and a bit more juice in the beef but maybe Chicago Style Beef is what it is? Pimiento Cheese and two bags of Carolina Chips were a shared side for three of us. I’m headin’ back to the Corner Deli asap !
Customer service sucked and food was average at best. These folks can't really be from Jersey. Almost $40 for 2 subs.
