The Commons

I don’t know what happened since last semester but the food they serve here is equivalent to dog food now. Every meet is soaked in grease, the last time I tried their BBQ chicken it was literally mis matched light and dark meat smothered in generic BBQ sauce and baked. Thats it. I feel like I have absolutely wasted my money on a meal plan and I will never be purchasing anything other than dining dollars for a meal plan. Who ever is in charge of quality control clearly doesn’t have taste buds r wants people to be as miserable as them. I can not stress this enough. Do not buy swipes for the commons. All of this goes the same for stingers on Marietta campus.

Overall , this is a great place for students to dine and should be appreciated more. The main reason I gave it a five start is because of the kindness and care of staff members. However , I must admit some days the food quality is not good . I do wish more time went into ensure the food looks snd taste good regularly.

Kennesaw doesn't lie when they say they are rated 5th in the nation and 1st in GA for their food in the Commons. The selections were outstanding and the quality of the food was really good.

Update: I’m leaving an update. I have enjoyed the commons however it’s really becoming an issue. They are always trying to close early. It will literally be 6 o clock and they are shutting things down and kicking students out! They shut down the entire sandwich side. That is ridiculous. We pay a lot of money to get the meal plan and it’s ridiculous that we can’t even get the food we come here to get. It’s actually insane. I’ve never been to a restaurant that shuts down the way they do and it’s not right. My sister goes to a different university and her cafeteria is open 24 hours. I get it if they can’t be open like that but it is beyond unacceptable that they close up before they are closed. There are basically such limited options which isn’t fair when a lot of us have late classes and this is our only way of eating. I enjoy eating at the commons. Most of the staff is friendly. Thank you! Everything is wonderful!
