I had really high hopes for this place. We went on a Saturday at around 6:00pm. It wasn’t busy but it took a long time to get our drinks and food. There was only one waiter and one cook working at the time. The shredded pork was too salty and dry. They have a long cider selection but nothing stood out. I ordered the flight of ciders and wasn’t impressed This place had a lot of potential but I’m not sure why it isn’t staffed appropriately and why it closes so soon on a weekend.
When I used to go pre-pandemic, they had 3 full coolers of packs of cider to-go. So we went hoping to have lots of options. The coolers were completely empty except for 2 cider options that were both a spiced cider (chai and some holiday one). They were not sold as a pack, but individually. We bought one can (literally a soda sized can) of each and the two bottles combined were over $18. I couldn't believe what felt way to expensive. Maybe dining in would be better and there were people eating in, but I noticed that half their fresh taps were empty, so the selection is really cut. I hope that they are bouncing back OK post-pandemic, but this was a pretty sad selection.
Love the food. They had Shepard's Pie and Chili. Both were delicious! They rotate their food items. Cider options are many and always satisfying! Great atmosphere. We love Cider Junction. Everyone must support this awesome location!!!
So many unique ciders to try. Fun place for people with gluten intolerance that want to drink something other than seltzers!
Seems like only one guy was working so it took a bit to get checked on. Otherwose great place to just hang out and chat and enjoy great ciders inside or outside!
Excellent variety of cider and there is nothing else like it. Staff is friendly and ambiance is awesome. It is a mini vacation every time I visit.
My spouse was looking for someplace new with a variety of ciders. The Cider Junction fit the bill perfectly. 30+ ciders on tap! We had a couple small plates and enjoyed the evening air on the patio! Vegetarian options: A small selection of.beg friendly options, including a couple of flatbread, a cheese board, baked Mac n cheese and baked tater tots.
Came here on a slow Saturday night. Excited by the huge list of cider options and very disappointed by the service. We arrived at 7. At 7:10 I went inside to order after looking over the menu and the bartender said he'd take our order outside at our table. Which he did... at 7:25. At 7:35 we left because he still hadn't poured our flights. Maybe they were short staffed, but I was disappointed.
Mev was awesome. Kind, thoughtful, warm and welcoming! I loved all the cider options and found a new one I really enjoyed (POG). Yummy fresh food. Mev went above and beyond and got me directions back to my hotel when my phone died. Loved the service, atmosphere, and the whole experience. Noticed they also had some board games available to play!
I was super excited to try a cider tap house because I love cider. It was pretty empty on a Friday evening tonight, so it was easy to grab a table. Cider options were great. Only downside was that we felt very rushed after arriving around 7:30 and they closed at 9 pm. Waitress kept asking if we wanted refills when we weren't even finished with our current drinks and it was asked in a very impatient way. She would come back after about 5 minutes after asking and ask "how about now?" She was stacking tables around us and cleaning up as if they were about to close. Last call for drinks was at 8:20, which was 40 minutes before closing... we were very shocked by that. They were mopping the whole place and it felt awkward walking through and asking if we were allowed to use the bathroom still. Overall, a very uncomfortable and rushed experience. This would have been a favorite spot for me to visit consistently if we didn't feel so rushed the whole time.
