The Church House - JD Wetherspoon

First time at this wetherspoons. The staff were really nice the locals were too, giving me information where to go for loos and answering my questions on the building. Only went for coffee and toast but good experience.

I always find this place a little dark and dingy. Otherwise a typical wetherspoons

Went in asked what I wanted gave my order & then she realised people were queing the other end of the bar, and proceeded to go and serve them. Who ques at a bar. Walked out.

Good meeting place. Staff friendly.

Typical weathers but shocking atmosphere

Great place to eat and drink t reasonable prices

So disappointed - day 3 of the Spring Ale Festival and not a guest ale to be had - just the usual suspects plus the Purple Moose guest which is not a festival ale. Got to ask why they spent all that time advertising the event unless the regulars have drunk the house dry in 2 days?
