The Angel Inn Loddon

Whilst we didn't eat here, the selection of beers and spirits are fantastic. If you want to get off the mainstream mass produced beers and largers, I can't recommend the Angel highly enough. The service is warm, friendly and very welcoming. Coffee and cakes are also available, cakes being homemade from what we were told. Cosy inside, and seating and tables outside I would definitely recommend popping in. Wheelchair accessibility: To the rear of the Angel you will find an access ramp.

We stopped here for breakfast at the weekend. The Angel is a lovely family-run and traditional style pub done out in a modern rustic style. The food was great, high quality, very tasty, and in a 'build-it-yourself' style which is really cool as you can select the breakfast items you want (eggs either: poached, scrambled or fried too). The staff were super friendly and attentive, and they had a good selection of local traditional hand pull beers on tap, but we didn't sample them. Highly recommended and would go again if we're ever out in Loddon again. Kid-friendliness: They had colouring books and pencils for the kids, as well as offering to cut their toast into soldiers for them too!

Lovely inside. Food is great,and sourced locally. We shared the Ploughman's and was not disappointed. Very friendly welcome.. Locally brewed lager is beautiful. Reasonably priced.

Breakfast at the Angel Inn Loddon, the building is beautiful! On entrance you have the option to go left into the “main” building or right into a private room, the owners have created a relaxed and calm atmosphere! This location is definitely value over quantity so if you want a big breakfast for a small price this wouldn’t be the ideal place for you! You can find the menu on their website, they run a build a breakfast service, where you select what you want, therefore individual items are priced, they do have example breakfast on the website to give you an idea. The attention to detail was much appreciated, with the apple juice being served with wafer-thin slices on apple; delicious! Also the bacon is deconstructed and the fat is cooked separately for extra crunch! And the bread is made in house and incredibly tasty! Even the pepper hand grind which I’d never seen before all added to the experience. The lady whose name I didn’t catch, was extremely friendly and attentive (had a little ding ️ bell, as we had sat in the private room) overall very happy, and will be recommending to friends and family who are looking for somewhere special for breakfast! “Personally I like the option of potatoes for breakfast also like a hash brown which weren’t on the menu. Additionally the napkins are on the small side as I’m known for being a bit messy sometimes” Parking: There are options to park on the street for free although limited spaces, however there is a paid parking lot a short distance!

Absolutely outstanding local beers and platters. We had a truly wonderful food experience for my husband's birthday. We will definitel be returning when we next visit Loddon. Thank you Jo and Frank.

Amazing place for a family brunch for 5 with 2 big dogs. So friendly, brilliant service and delicious food! Everyone’s meals were delicious but special mention for the fish platter (order in advance) and the kippers!

Great to see a pub done up like this, food was incredible and clearly had been thought out and prepared carefully. Brilliant atmosphere, will definitely return.
