This is a nice, local restaurant and the food is usually consistent. Tonight, not so much. Keep in mind this is a very small dining area with probably only ten tables. They have a "party room" for either reservations or larger parties. Alcohol, BYOB, can only be served in that room, so don't bring a nice bottle of red to have with your meal. The food, overall, is good. However, the Italian beef sandwich (beef, onion, mushroom and provolone served on toasted Italian), came with a side of...French fried ziti? It was crunchy and cold and tasteless. Above all, however, this 'side' looked disgusting ( we eat with our eyes after all). It looked like penne pasta had been left out overnight and then sat on the expo under a heat lamp for five hours. Why they would include this in a meal is beyond me and the restaurant is doing a disservice as the rest of the food is better than average and appealing to both the eyes and stomach. Hoping it was just an off night for them. But, please, take the fried/old/mystery noodles out of service.
