Tex Tubb's Taco Palace

Texas tubs taco Palace is a fun place with good food and great service. Had a lot of tacos. Here flavors are wonderful. Food is rich and servings are generous. Interior atmosphere is super fun.

Without exaggerating, the brisket taco and carnitas taco are some of the best food I've ever had. 11 out of 10. I can't recommendthem enough. Vegetarian options: They have a section of the menu that is just vegetarian tacos Dietary restrictions: I don't know what, if any, practices they use to prevent cross contamination but they have clearly marked gluten friendly options and my mom who has celiac is planning on trying some of them so I'll update this review with the feedback. Parking: There is a side lot to park in but spaces are pretty limited. If they are busy, parking will likely be full. Also, the parking spaces aren't very wide so if you have a truck or larger tires on a Jeep it might be a squeeze. Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is kid friendly. I saw a few young kids (maybe around 5 years old) but there is a bar and most people are probably drinking so take that into consideration.

Great food, it feels a bit small and busy but the food was worth it. Kid friendly. Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu including a taco I would've eaten. Also a kids horchata which they loved!

I had been here before several years ago. But I came again for a friends birthday. Started off with some guac and chips. The guac was fantastic! Then I had a frozen strawberry margarita, which was delicious. For food, I ordered 3 tacos. I got the chicken tinga, al pastor and carnitas taco. I only taco I really liked the carnita taco. The Al pastor taco, was a bit on the dry side. But nothing a little salsa couldn’t fix. Otherwise the food was good and so were the drinks!

I love Tex Tubb's! They offer a lot of vegan-friendly fare and they're really good at preparing it, too. It can be noisy on a busy night, but that's a mark of success. If a quiet atmosphere is what you're looking for, come for lunch.
