Terry's Not Just Bagels

Best bagels in ocean county if you ask me. I buy the bagels in bulk and then freeze them to use throughout the week

Just ordered a dozen bagels and cream cheese. Got home to find out only 9 bagels were in the bag. None of the sesame bagels were in the bag. Called to let them know and the rude woman said she personally put the sesame bagels in the bag. Basically said we were lying. She specifically put them in there. They are not in the bag.... Will not ever be going back there again. Why would anyone call and lie about getting less bagels??? So unprofessional... Never will step foot in that establishment ever again.

This place is awful. They used to actually be a pretty decent bagel spot. I’ve ordered from here the last 3 weekends and each time they read back my order , and still do not fulfill a single request. It’s apparent they don’t care about customers at all.

Great place to stop and get something to eat.... the bagels are off the hook always perfectly cooked. Breakfast sandwiches are awesome

Had an amazing experience with my family. Delicious bagels and let me tell you I missed NJ, coming from NC. This spot is a gem I plan to visit every time I come visit. Fantastic owner and workers at this place. Definitely appreciate how polite and professional the place is.

I see various reviews on Terry’s, it is not consistent. I like supporting minority or female owned businesses. But I do indeed get frustrated going there. Sometimes the bagels just seem like rolls, other times great. This week the free one with 1/2 dozen went away….. many places for bagels in the area. Time to change photo on web page, still shows the old owners and free sign.

The new owners are charming and friendly. The bagels and lox were fresh and delicious. It is consistently open in the mornings under new ownership. It seems they aim to please. I notice some comparison with previous owners by posters. I’d say give them another chance to get their bearings. They know food and are open to reason. Their bagels are consistently done right. And sadly, prices have shot up absolutely everywhere. But try them (again). You may be pleasantly surprised.

11/26/2023: Breakfasts to go. VERY tasty and well packaged. We really enjoyed their Western Omelet's & my daughter wiped out the scrambled eggs. 11/24/2023: I have not visited "Terry's" for a long while. This store appears to be under New Management. Today's orders of egg platters were VERY tasty and a delightful way to start the day. Well Done! Parking: I arrive at opening time and the lot is EMPTY!
