THANK YOU for making our LU, DCMAC Lunch with the Students, amazing!! This was my first time trying this restaurant however, just hearing about an AA, Woman owned, Soul Food Restaurant in Oxford, was all the info I needed. I could tell by her cute place, on time pick up, great personality and smell of the food, we were in for a treat. Well, BABY, the food was . Every item we ordered was D- LISH and everyone loved their meal. Teen, as I shared, i hope you're ready, Girlfriend. See you soon.

Food is great. Once I discovered it we eat there or take out.

Shrimp and grits are great complementary cornbread could be my dinner because it was so yummy. Staff friendly and helpful. Recommended.

WARNING! If you're driving and reading this, pull over because just thinking about how this food taste will put you in a trance! I went in not really expecting to be please, but man was I wrong! I was greeted by the hostess' when I walked in, and when I got to the counter and asked what is good....without hesitation they said EVERYTHING! So since I plan on trying everything eventually... I started with the go to.... JERK CHICKEN! Then added the Mac N cheese, fried okra and some shrimp and grits!! (hey I was ordering for my dinner and then late dinner, no judgment). First, shrimp N grits are delicious!! Shrimp cooked to perfection and grits reminded me of my time in Louisiana! 2nd, fried okra was the bomb! Slight crunch ans seasoned perfectly! Next up...the Mac N cheese....had me singing my my my!! And finally....that banging jerk chicken!!!! That sauce that sauce that sauce!!! I almost cussed! Since it was suppose to be my "late" dinner, I only tried 1 wing with dinner dinner.....(well maybe 2 or 3). Very tasty and the perfect amount of kick that leaves you teetering on....Should I lick my fingers and drink or should I grab another. Yep....I grabbed another! Needless to say, I'll definitely be going back to try something else. I heard the chicken sandwiches were really good, so that will be my next selection! Teen.... I shall return most def!!! UPDATE: Yep....still killin it!!! It was a shrimp and grits kinda night and Teen's didn't disappoint! Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp that leads to the door, but has a slight lip at the top.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming. Everyone was pleasant We will be back again.

So I can’t speak on dining in but I doordash food from here 2-3 times a week and their fried chicken is my current dopamine food. The chicken wings are always hot, fresh and crispy, even after the drive to Jennersville. The Mac n cheese makes my mouth water. I just placed an order because it’s so good that you have to take advantage of it when they’re open :) Highly recommend you give this place a try!!

We loved our visit to Teen's Place! I had the salmon patties platter with Mac & cheese and string beans. Delicious! My husband had the brisket sandwich platter with Mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. He said it was very good also! Definitely will be back!

Visited Teens Place Sunday the food was AMAZING one of the girls was amazing. The only reason I give it a 3 is because we walked in and phones were being used, there was a little girl up front on her phone(seemed to be too young to be there), a Spanish girl on phone NEVER got greeted just told “are you Dine in or take out” by the Spanish girl she had an attitude when we first walked in as well. The only one who seemed to be attentive is the third girl that had braids she was smiling didn’t have her phone on her & seemed like she really wanted to do more but just didn’t know how. Maybe more training needed? Hope to visit again, maybe be greeted & maybe have no phones in front of the house, Tell them to keep them in the back? Will try again in the near future.

I have enjoyed my meals during all of my three visits. I love the fried shrimp and fries. The other sides that I've tried are pretty good too (like the candied yams). Cornbread often comes with the meal, and it's pretty good - it has a sweet taste. The only real issue is the wait time if the restaurant is busy. On busy days, seating is limited and you might have to wait quit a bit to be seated. The staff is really nice though. Bring your patience and enjoy the food!
