Really disturbing experience trying to eat while the birds were constantly attacking my table and all the customers with food. I would never go back here. Bird poop on the chairs, very aggressive birds attacking customers and their food. The restaurant doesn't seem to care or think it's their problem. And one customer was feeding them and seems to be regular, no wonder they have a problem! Good luck Tatte! I spoke with the manager who seemed uninterested. Said there's nothing they can do. Clearing off the tables quickly, sweeping up, and preventing customers from feeding the birds would be a start.
The food here is always so delicious. Emma is the best server- she takes my order often. She gives specific recommendations regarding food, and is super knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and ingredients. I know I’ll have a great meal when I see her!
never been to this seemingly great establishment but proud to say that Tomas the Italian Barista is my uncle edit: after visiting this amazing place, i am even prouder to say that Tomas the Italian Barista is my uncle
Tatte is one of the best places to get a nice cup of tomato soup, and a quiche. I personally recommend their leek, potato, and spinach quiche, which has the right amount of moisture, and was just like a melt-in-your mouth. The salad has a bit of a za'atar flavor in it to give it a crunchiness, and it works really well with the mixed greens. I also liked the lamb pita. If there was one thing Tatte could improve on, however, I would definitely say that they sometimes have food that is ready to be served, but it takes time for the servers to deliver the food to the customer. I saw my order waiting outside the window for 15 minutes, and confronted the server, who then apologized, and asked us if we were missing anything. Also, the cashier forgot to print out my receipt making it hard to track my order. Other than these little mishaps, I would definitely recommend this Tatte. The tomato soup is one of the yummiest soups I've had, and it's no wonder that Tattes are popping up everywhere. Overall, I highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes are labeled with a V. Dietary restrictions: Common allergens are highlighted on the menu, and even on some of the pastries. Kid-friendliness: Kiddos would like some of the pastries, and there's also grilled cheese sandwiches.
1 star is too much for them. Latte expectation vs reality the worst bread I’ve ever tried Waiting time 30 minutes Never again! Gross!
