Tasty Noodle House - Irvine

Great grilled pork buns and chicken Chow Mein. Sorry I can't comment on other menu items. I can't stop ordering these!

Have been a frequent visitor to this restaurant. Food is always good and all the staffs and aunties are super friendly. However, the owner of this restaurant does not allow their staffs to turn on the AC during the heat wave (around 102F degree weather for the whole weekend fyi). Not only are the customers sweating excessively (the aunties are super sweet and offered us takeout box lids to use as handheld paper fans to cool down) under the unnecessary indoor heat conditions, the staffs also have to work under the absurd heat, which would be a potential health hazard. I feel sorry for them.

This restaurant has gotten my same order wrong at least 5 times. We tell them over the phone to have fried dumplings but thrice in a row they've given us boiled ones. Completely ridiculous. By the time we arrive home, it's too late to change it.

I just had the Kung pao noodle soup. It was so unexpectedly delicious. I love things a little sweet. It has the perfect amount of sweetness, spiciest, vegetables and a fabulous broth. The staff are so friendly, they even offered to add broth so I could take home the remaining of my noodles. I love this place. I’m going to bring, my son here for sure. He loves Asian noodles!

Portions are big so for 15-17$ you can have leftovers. And they help to pack the rest of your dish to go. In the picture 2 dishes - chicken fried rice and combo fried rice so you can see that the rice looks and tastes differently so that is a little bit of confusion. But there's a good correlation between price and quality.

The moment you step inside, you'll get a free nose workout because the place doesn't smell great. Pro tip: just order pickup if you're planning to eat from here. Food is good. The grilled pork bun is recommended.

包子现做，皮厚肉少。服务非常差劲，我点水煎包，问能不能加急做的稍微快一点（我知道这很难，但还是抱着希望问一嘴）结果你猜他怎么回的？“谁点都要半个小时后取，你想吃半熟的？那15分钟就行。你要熟的还是半熟的？”简直是傻出天际了。明明生意不是很好还不知道维护客户，这样的员工也真是绝了。 The buns are made fresh but have thick skin and little filling. The service is very poor. I ordered pan-fried buns and asked if they could possibly be made a bit faster (I know it's difficult, but I asked hopefully anyway), and guess what the response was? "Everyone waits 30 minutes to pick up, You are no exception， or you want eat them half-cooked? That would take 15 minutes. ok now，half-cooked，right?" It was utterly ridiculous. Despite not being very busy, they still don't know how to maintain customer relations. Such staff are really unbelievable.
