Tartan of Redlands

We have been having dinner at The Tartan for years. We've always had good luck there. Last night (Saturday) we brought another couple as guests. As always, the service (Andrew) was awesome! We ordered steak with shrimp scampi, prime rib, and Asian salad. For $7 extra we got 3 very small, unseasoned shrimp. The steak was very rare (we ordered medium well and sent it back. Got it back, still bleeding). It came with a small dolup of plain mashed potatoes (no butter, no gravy). Our friends said the salad wasn't very good, and the prime rib was "okay." The weather was great, so we ate outside. This was our mistake. We sat in the back away from the band. The music was so loud, we had to yell to carry a conversation. The band was pretty darn good, but the lead singer's volume overrode the band. We'll be back for another try, but we'll sit inside if there's a band (unless it's the Decades). Take the good with the bad I suppose. Very disappointing evening...

This place is like our second home. Love what Jeff has done to update but still keep the original atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and employees professional. Must try! Parking: During busy times hard to find places in the lot. Wheelchair accessibility: Handycap parking close to restaurant

Great food and service

Always wonderful food. Only wish that I could get salmon for lunch. We know longer drive at night.

Has that old steakhouse vibe. Service is always on point. Food is simple and good.

Enjoyed Saint Patrick's day here. Didn't hurt the wallet much either.

Cute place higher on price. Reallgood Salmon. Vegetarian options: Yes good Veggies Parking: Dark room. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Tables easily accommodate wheel chairs.
