Tarim Garden specializes in the cuisine of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of Northwest China, a rarity in the Bay Area. More specifically, the menu is reflective of the dinner tables of Ili. Tarim Garden is a family-owned restaurant in Xinjiang China run by Lei Han. He is a third-generation chef following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. His family has owned restaurants in Xinjiang for over 30 years. In 2023, he decided to open a restaurant that showcases authentic Xinjiang cuisine.
