Tang's Sushi

Best Sushi in Roseville.

I'd give this 3.5 for first experience in. We went on a VERY busy night (Valentine's Day) and the staff were doing a great job. We tried two rolls — The TSI, the Sunrise and also a Nigiri Saba. Looking forward to trying out more of their menu to find our favorites. So far I really liked the depth of flavor in the Sunrise roll, the TSI was good but didn't have the depth that the Sunrise throws down.

I was really hopeful after reading the good reviews but I should have listened to the negative ones and gone elsewhere. The Pepperfin is the only thing I had that actually tasted good. We ordered 4 rolls (49er, Dynamite, TSI and I honestly can't remember the last one). They were essentially flavorless, including the sauces. One tasted like mayo out of the jar. The service was decent but we had to get up and ask for ginger and wasabi (maybe that's their policy?). Everyone was very friendly and the dining room was nice. Overall, it seemed like the food was "watered down" to cater to the area, i.e. Roseville... Unfortunately, with the amount of other more authentic options, we will not be back.

Let's talk about Tangs baby, if you haven't been yet... GO!!! Like right now just get the family, friends wife, girlfriend, everyone! I'm telling you right now you will not regret it. It's by far the best sushi you'll find imported daily and not to mention their ribeye is a game changer! The owner Tang is absolutely awesome in everything he does if you get lucky enough to have him make anything for you, do the omakase it will blow your mind! Everyone in the restaurant is very personable and they go above and beyond any other restaurant we've been to!!

Rolls are mediocre. Bbq albacore was dry. Just laking taste and only ate a few pieces from the 4 rolls we ordered and decided I was done. Sad to spend so much money on really subpar sushi.

A bit small inside but well worth the wait!! EXCELLENT FOOD!!!

Get place friendly and great food

Literally the best sushi I’ve ever had.

My favorite sushi restaurant in the Roseville/Rocklin area. So fresh, delicious, and elegantly prepared. They are always busy but that's a good thing, and the service is attentive and quick. Love Tang's Sushi!

Always had a great time here. Food is amazing, staff is super friendly, and there's always something exciting to try.
