What more can you ask ?
We came in to have lunch on a Sunday. They don't offer brunch options, but that didn't deter me from this place. I loved the outdoor/indoor ambience since their indoor space had their walls pushed back to expose an outdoor feel. We absolutely loved the tacos. We ordered steak, chicken, and black bean and sweet potato tacos with chips and guacamole. Everything was incredibly tasty. I liked the bottles of sauce on our table to add as pleased. I am a big margarita lover, but at the moment, I couldn't try it since I couldn't drink alcohol. I hope next time I would be able to try it since I'm pretty sure it must be very good. The service was impeccable. Our server was absolutely lovely. I loved the staff's teamwork with bringing out food and drink orders and checking in to see if everything was good. We will definitely come back and enjoy another lunch!
Food and service and drink great but a little pricey. I would still go back.
It’s just too expensive
$6.50 for a tiny shrimp taco
$6.85 Fish taco that had basically nothing in it.
Amazing food and drinks.
Most friendly people and staff 5+ hospitality
Second best taco I've had outside Mexico. Best I've had on long Island
Knowing that the vibe here isn’t fine dining - and is a casual but quality spot should help temper people’s expectations. We’ve ordered from here 6x in the span of 4 months and the food never disappoints. The staff has always been attentive, food is on point, and the set up makes you feel like you’re not just off old country road, which for me is a huge plus.
For the reviews on here that complain about food not standing out, go to JFK, and buy a ticket to Mexico and have your Anthony Bourdain-like meals. But if you’re just a local long islander looking for something to satisfy your craving for authentic tacos / guac etc, give them a shot.
