Had the best sushi ever and the people and service were excelent
Good sushi selection. It's a bit pricier than other places that could be cheaper with about the same quality. Great Chef's as well. We had the Del Mar Roll, Lemon Cilantro Roll, and Eel Hand Roll. All three items were quite delicious. This place is way different compared to the last time i went (pre-Covid).
Excellent sushi, haven't had a bad roll since I have been going there!!!
One of my favorite sushi restaurants in East county! The food is amazing, the chef's definitely know what they're doing, they're quick, polite, friendly and great at what they do!
Only problem from time to time is the service. Lots of teenage servers but they aren't all very attentive. Granted, it's probably most of their first job's but trying to get their attention shouldn't be that tough.
Food it's always really good
Very good. Fresh uni. Good rolls. Order came out quickly. Sticky floor, though.
Walked in after getting a haircut next door. Wasn't expecting anything special as fish is just fish. Took a pair of seats on the bar in front of Tony, the chef. My wife asked for a variety of rolls, and I told Tony to use his imagination and keep providing me with sushi. OMG talk about explosions of flavors, from Salmon belly, tuna, Uni to a shot of oyster with quail egg and God knows what else, I ate more than I bargained for but left happy, the service was great and the food even better 😊 We shall be new "regulars" now. My wife said the rolls are good.
One of my favorite Sushi places in San Diego County. Great variety of sushi rolls. The Habibi roll is the best.
Go elsewhere for food and you are welcome for the notice. Also they don't respond at all to reviews. They just don't care. You did great before today. I guess first time customers must get extra or something lol. Btw u served me 14 PIECES on a 16 piece purchase and the portions were reduced by a third. You ripped us off plain and simple, so next time we will keep our money and go someplace ethical. Last time was my first time and this time is definitely my last. Rediculous on your part. Bye bye. Go elsewhere. They have no consistency and apparently can't count either 🤷
I normally don’t post reviews but we tried Tabu Sushi in Rancho San Diego for the first time and it was awful. We went to the one in Santee several years ago and were underwhelmed, but wanted sushi and were in the area of this location. The outside of the restaurant was dirty, no signs or stickers on the door, so at first it appeared closed, and multiple unhoused people were hanging around. The inside of the restaurant was okay but the men’s restroom was disgusting. My spicy shrimp ramen was tasteless, had no spice, 2-3 shrimp pieces, a few pieces of unidentifiable vegetables and some of the noodles were clumped together. They brought out my ramen with no utensil to eat it with and then completely forgot my husband’s food. After 10 minutes, I nicely asked them to check on it and they brought it 5-10 minutes later, but the rice was cold. A table next to us complained that there soda was flat. Between the price, atmosphere and taste, we will not return.
There was plastic inside my roll 👎👎👎
