We are Romain and Alexandre Lecat: brothers, bakers and entrepreneurs from France with a passion for high-quality bread. We fell in love with Los Angeles over many years of visiting and eventually living in the city, but we always missed the taste of bread from our homeland. In the land of dreams, we decided to chase our own by starting an authentic French artisan bakery. We went home to Paris, learned the trade in the best schools in Paris, and returned with the finest quality flour we could find from the fields of France. Now, with the opening of our very first Sweet Wheat Bakery storefront in Redondo Beach, we’re opening our doors to you, our neighbor, to an authentic and delicious French bakery and bistro experience.
