Sweet Things by Marcy specializes in authentic southern desserts such as Kentucky Butter Cake, Hummingbird Cake, Peach Cobbler, Sweet Potato Pie, Chess Pie etc. The owner, Marcy Haas, was born and raised in West Central Alabama, so her recipes are truly authentic. She has over 40 years of experience preparing and baking southern desserts (and cuisine). Additionally, Marcy a veteran of the US Navy, serves on the board at Friendship Home of Lincoln, Veterans Memorial Garden Advisory Council, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
